When you have grass under your feet and trees overhead, you are surrounded by decay. Nature is constantly reusing its resources as fallen trees offer food and shelter, and fallen animals help the plants find nutrients. We will be examining different examples of this decay and reuse cycle throughout Oakdale Nature Preserve. Dress warmly and be prepared to get your hands dirty. We anticipate not needing masks but please have one with you should guidelines change. Meet by the Mogle building, just off of the parking lot.
